| does not show a "nick" to the valve seat. Hard to tell from the pic. I would knife edge the throat where the two ports become one on both the intake and exhaust. Good to leave the intake rough and polish the exhaust. I would also polish the combustion chamber to help reduce chances of detonation. Finally, port match the head to the exhaust gasket but port the exhaust manifolds slightly larger than the gasket so you get an anti-reversion lip. Good job so far.
